September Parish Council Meeting - POSTPONED

The September meeting of the Parish Council, planned to take place on 12th, has been postponed. Three clear days notice is required to convene a meeting of the Parish Council. Days of National Mourning do not count as clear days. Therefore, the required notice period has not been fulfilled.

Advance Notice of a TTRO

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Public Right of Way Y65, North Kilworth.

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Newline Civils, on behalf of Jelson Homes, to facilitate new housing development works. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

Coronavirus Mobile Testing Unit Opens in Lutterworth

A temporary coronavirus mobile testing unit has opened at Lutterworth Sports Centre car park.

Unlike the Market Harborough walk-through site, this will be a drive through unit. As is standard process, tests will be offered by appointment only, so that the queues to the site are limited.

TTRO - Walcote Road outside Kilworth House

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on Walcote Road, South Kilworth outside Kilworth House on the 4th November 2019 for 3 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate new water connection works and will involve a road closure.
